Sylvia C Garcia was raised in Camarillo and is the third-generation family member to call Camarillo Home. For more than a decade, Sylvia C. Garcia has worked to strengthen her community through service, advocacy, and volunteer leadership. A lifelong Camarillo resident and Army veteran, she understands both the opportunities and challenges facing local families.

After helping a family member navigate serious mental health challenges, Sylvia became a dedicated advocate for community wellness and public service. Today, she is running for the Camarillo City Council to help ensure local government remains responsive, transparent, and focused on the needs of residents.
